Temple Fork Outfitters Lifetime Fly Rod Warranty, Canada is for the life of the original registered owner. Should your rod ever break, we’ll replace the broken piece, regardless of how it broke, for just a $30 handling fee (per rod section), plus the applicable GST* or HST*, while it is still owned by the original owner (no family heirlooms please). If your rod fails due to defects in materials or workmanship Temple Fork Outfitters Canada will repair or replace your rod or rod section (tip or butt section) at no cost.

++To activate your warranty, simply fill out the warranty registration form online or fill out the printed form and drop it in the mail to us, don’t forget the stamp. Product registration must be completed by the purchaser to activate the warranty. Keep this warranty with your original receipt as you will be required to show proof of purchase from an authorized Canadian Temple Fork Outfitters dealer when claiming a warranty. Temple Fork Outfitters Canada reserves the right to determine the eligibility of the product registration if the registration is delayed by the purchaser for more than three months after the original purchase date.

If you have a broken rod and need to send it in for warranty follow these steps:
1. Send in the ferrule from the broken rod section so we can match up the replacement parts. Take the broken rod section and with a pair of pliers (about 4 or 5 inches above the ferrule) compress the rod to flatten it and break that piece with the ferrule off of the broken rod section. If the entire rod is broken, send in the ferrules from both sections. Please take caution and wear protective eyewear as graphite can splinter.

2. Send the ferrule(s) in a small padded envelope (insured with pre-paid freight, we are not responsible for lost shipments) with proof of purchase to us at:

Be sure to enclose your shipping address, daytime phone number (just in case we need to contact you) and a note as to what the problem is.
-Important- Also enclose the information about the model and line weight of the rod.

4. *Enclose a cheque or money order payable to Springbrook Manufacturing for the $30.00 handling fee (per rod section), plus GST and where applicable HST, or you can also give us a Visa or Master Card number if you prefer. Fees in Canadian funds. The handling fee includes the shipping back to you. *Shipping outside of Canada is at cost plus insurance. This fee is subject to change. Warranty does not cover loss or theft.
NOTICE: Effective January 1st, 2009 Temple Fork Outfitters warranty fee increased to $30.00 + tax.

NOTE: If paying by cheque or money order your warranty will be delayed if the handling fee and taxes are not included.

For those of you that are in driving distance of our warehouse you may come in to have the warranty taken care of. We are open Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mtn time. We accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Debit.

At TFO we like to take care of your warranty repair quickly so it will usually get shipped back to you within 24 hours of it arriving at Springbrook.Once we receive your rod, we will inspect the damages. Temple Fork Outfitters Canada will determine, at it’s sole discretion, if the rod or rod section failed due to defects in materials or workmanship, if this is the case we will then return the handling fee along with your repaired or replacement rod or rod section. If upon examination, we determine that a broken rod or rod section is not due to a defect in materials or workmanship, Temple Fork Outfitters Canada will process the handling fee and repair, replace or substitute with the closest comparable model if an exact replacement is no longer available. Temple Fork Outfitters Canada under the following exceptions has no liability to provide warranty services for the repair or maintenance without charge: deficiency resulting from shipping; damages caused by neglect, misuse or accidental events; human force or assembly; improper maintenance or modifications; normal wear and tear caused by use over time; loss or theft, and is limited to only the rod and its components.

Please note: Your dealer is not authorized to offer over-the-counter no charge replacements under this warranty so you’ll have to send the rod to us if you feel the rod failed due to defects in materials and workmanship. Your dealer, at their discretion, may however replace the broken piece or rod but you will be charged the $30.00 handling fees as indicated above. (Fees are subject to change and dealers may call for revised fee pricing.)

This warranty only supports fly rods offered by Temple Fork Outfitters, Canada. This warranty does not support Spinning & Casting Rods in the TFO Signature Series TiCr2; TFO Professional TLFS, TLFC, TLSHS, TLSHC and TLSHCP series of rods offered by Temple Fork Outfitters, Canada (see TFO Canada Spinning Rods & Casting Rods Limited Lifetime Warranty for details).
